The Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, KS hosted three races this past week. The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards crowned Grant Enfinger its 2015 Champion after Friday night’s season finale. On Saturday night Kyle Busch won the XFINITY Series event on the 1.5-mile oval. The Sprint Cup Series’ second race of the Contender Round closed out the Kansas City weekend with Joey Logano taking the trophy on Sunday afternoon for the second consecutive week. At the All American Speedway in Roseville, CA on Saturday night, Gracin Raz became another first-time K&N Pro Series West winner. Fans at Connecticut’s Thompson Speedway for Sunday’s Whelen Modified Tour finale watched Doug Coby win the race and secure his third series championship. The Camping World Truck Series will return to action on Saturday, October 24 at Talladega Superspeedway.
NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS)
Time Trials: Brad Keselowski (No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion) won the Coors Light Pole Award for the Hollywood Casino 400 with a lap of 27.621 seconds, 195.503 mph. This is his 10th pole in 228 NSCS races. It is his second pole and 20th top-10 start in 2015 and first pole in 12 races at Kansas Speedway. Keselowski led 28 laps and finished the 269-lap race in ninth place.

Winner: Joey Logano (No. 22 Shell Pennzoil Ford Fusion) won the Hollywood Casino 400, his 13th victory in 250 NSCS races. This is his fifth victory and 25th top-10 finish in 2015 and his second victory and fifth top-10 finish in 13 races at Kansas Speedway. Logano had already clinched a spot in the Eliminator Round with his win last weekend at Charlotte. This victory stopped any of the other top 12 drivers from clinching a spot before next weekend’s third and last race of this round.

NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS)
Time Trials: Sprint Cup driver Matt Kenseth (No. 20 Dollar General Toyota Camry) won the Coors Light Pole Award for the Kansas Lottery 300 with a lap of 29.204 seconds, 184.906 mph in the No. 20 Reser’s Main St. Bistro Toyota. Kenseth led 148 laps and finished second in the 204-lap race.
This is his 17th pole in 288 NXS races. It is his first pole and fifth top-10 NXS start in 2015 and his third pole in nine NXS races at Kansas Speedway.
Did Not Qualify: None, only 40 teams entered for 40 spots.
Winner: Sprint Cup driver Kyle Busch (No. 18 Toyota Camry) won the Kansas Lottery 300 driving the No. 54 Monster Energy Toyota for his 75th victory in 308 NXS races. This is his fifth victory and 10th top-10 NXS finish in 2015. It is his third victory and ninth top-10 finish in 11 NXS races at Kansas Speedway. Busch started the No. 54 fourth in the lineup and led 56 laps of the 204-lap event.
