CATCHER
Eric Haase - Detroit Tigers (vs. Baltimore Orioles - SP Alexander Wells)
Paying up for Eric Haase is a safe strategy with GPP upside. Haase has averaged 11.3 DK FPPG over his last 10 games. Over this span, he has four home runs and 14 RBI. Reaching double digit fantasy points in each of his last three games (14, 20, 23), Haase carries a high (cash-game) floor while maintaining potential for a higher GPP ceiling. Even at a salary of $4,900 on DraftKings, I expect him to produce yet again tonight against Baltimore’s Alexander Wells.
FIRST BASE
Shohei Ohtani - Los Angeles Angels (vs. Oakland A’s - SP Frankie Montas)
Looking at Ohtani’s recent game logs, $6,200 is not enough to keep me off of him tonight. Shohei has hits in each of his last five games while homering in three of them. Tonight, the Angels left-hander will be facing Oakland’s Frankie Montas. Montas has been pitching well as of late but the Angels will be matching up against him for now the third time this season. The first two matchups clearly went to Montas but tonight, this one will be won by Los Angeles on the back of Shohei Ohtani.
SECOND BASE
Rodolfo Castro - Pittsburgh Pirates (vs. Milwaukee Brewers - SP Freddy Peralta)
The NBC Sports Edge MLB DFS optimizer has Rodolfo Castro projected for 10.1 DK FP at a salary of $2,500. Castro is coming off of a monster performance last night. He totaled 30 DK FP on two home runs. This is the second time in Castro’s last four starts where he’s hit two home runs in a game (last on 7/11 against the NYM)[[ad:athena]]

Fernando Tatis Jr - San Diego Padres (vs. Colorado Rockies - SP Kyle Freeland)
Fernando Tatis Jr. is batting five for fifteen with two doubles, and one home run against Kyle Freeland. Tommy Pham also has solid stats against Freeland, batting five for 13 with two RBI, one walk, and a home run. The Padres are my top stack of the night.
THIRD BASE
Manny Machado - San Diego Padres (vs. Colorado Rockies - SP Kyle Freeland)
