Images from Win McMurry’s trip to Las Vegas for the 2012 PGA Expo.

Golf jumpsuit anyone? The European lineage of this line is unmistakable. I cant see an American company ever designing one of these, although the homage to the Augusta National caddie jumper is undeniable as well. Abacus also has some super cool textures and gingham patterns that I see being a big hit come spring along with reversible offerings.

Mossimo Giani has been at the forefront of bringing fashionable, colorful golf gloves to the industry in the last few years with his company GFore. Asher gloves is decorating golf hands as well, giving golfers even more ways to express themselves on the course.

Bright colors have actually softened a bit for spring and Im in favor of it. Its not so in-you-face; however, Puma still stands out from the pack. I saw this heather look repeated by practically every big name golf apparel company at this years show.

Ecco has continued to resonate with their footwear fans primarily with the sole focus of comfort on the golf course. While their line has increased in color options and style offerings, I am most excited about this reversion to the traditional golf shoe ' plus its for women. Its difficult to find a cute, functional and traditional golf shoe these days for women.

The long-time ruler of the golf footwear world has recently expanded their line of apparel to some very cool items for the male golfer. Their new sport shorts materials are brilliant. Classic, traditional, yet sports-minded, FootJoy has among many things found a way to make seersucker a technical fabric tailored for the golf course.

Girl is a cute company founded by a mother and her 17-year-old daughter. The line is currently composed of bright colorful solids made with SPF built in along with antimicrobial properties. Polos, bamboo cotton hoodies, and golf dresses compose the line, but its the trim fitting golf pant that really caught my eye.

This is not your dads Jack. Nicklaus set the bar in golf and is making a statement with his apparel line this spring. One of my favorites is a new twist on an old favorite. The bold belt buckle, Golden Bear style. Are you game enough to wear it?

Ding ding ding! Meet my favorite new entrant to the womens industry. From the feminine polo shirt collar to the ruched shoulders and adorable little lady bug logo, Im sold. I want to play in these flirty feminine frocks now, please!

Lija, which was established for the golfing woman and has since grown into a lifestyle, tennis, and other active sportswear company, is my top pick for womens sporty wear on the course. Its a Canadian-born company, but the fact that its designed for golfers makes it far and away the golf-skort or athletic golf top of choice in my book.

John Asworths latest endeavor is a huge hit in my book. The quality of the clothing that is anything but flashy tech makes you want to throw it on and lounge in it all day. Its California cool with no pretension. It is simple. Soulful. Soft. And oh so comfy cas(ual).

This French apparel company focused for the last 20 years primarily in Europe, but has returned to the USA. They have a limited golf offering but it is definitely one of the most refined and sophisticated fashion offerings that Ive come across for women. Its dainty and has that certain je ne sais quoi.

This company has always been for the golfer and has transitioned well as a lifestyle brand as well. Im a huge fan of the yoga-inspired gear that has infiltrated the golf world. Straight Downs pullovers would make my list of favorite things every year.

I walked away from this booth feeling a major need to update my rain gear wardrobe. Gore-Tex gets fashionable with detailing and accents on the golfing raincoats like none other. The patterns, fabric, and function take a cue from their ski and snowboard lines.

I mean are you serious? Robert literally pulled his pants down to demonstrate this latest invention for golf apparel. But hey, if you have the problem of your shirt constantly coming untucked, well, heres your solution.

It means cloth in Sanskrit and what is so unique about this new company is that theyre all about you being unique. No man is built alike, so why do we buy our clothing in only small, medium, large or XL? This company, thats been around for about a year and a half, is all about proper fit and embraces another big trend at this years show, that of customization.
