The U.S. Golf Association announced Friday that the Los Angeles Country Club has been chosen to host the 2017 Walker Cup.
The competition will be held on the North Course, which opened in 1921.
The USGA has also hosted the 1930 U.S. Women’s Amateur and the 1954 U.S. Junior Amateur at the club.
The only other Walker Cup held in California was in 1981 at Cypress Point.
