Browns claimed DT Ishmaa’ily Kitchen off waivers from the Ravens.
An undrafted free agent out of Kent State, Kitchen will take Scott Paxson’s roster spot. Kitchen tallied four tackles and a sack in Baltimore’s preseason finale.

Browns coach Mike Pettine said DE Armonty Bryant could play some outside linebacker this season.
Bryant’s 2014 season came to an end after suffering a torn ACL in Week 6. Pettine wants Bryant to be in the “pass-rush mix” when he returns to full strength. Pettine also confirmed Phil Taylor’s move from a three-technique defensive end to nose tackle. Ishmaa’ily Kitchen will join him on the inside.

    Lions signed DT Ishmaa’ily Kitchen.
DE Phillip Hunt was waived in a corresponding move. Kitchen will provide depth with Tyrunn Walker (ankle) out for the season and Haloti Ngata questionable with a calf injury.

    Patriots released DT Ishmaa’ily Kitchen.
The 27-year-old spent time with the Patriots and Detroit last year. He was active for just two games. Kitchen shouldn’t draw interest as more than an end-of-the-roster flyer.
