Tigers OF prospect Jacob Robson homered twice for Double-A Erie on Thursday.
Robson also drew a walk. An eighth-round pick of the 2016 draft, Robson doesn’t have elite power, but he can capitalize on mistakes, and he now has five over his first 46 games for the SeaWolves. His best tool is his plus-plus speed, and he could be a 30-plus steal player if he gets on enough to do so. He draws more than his fair share of walks, but he also can struggle to put the ball in play. He’s more than likely a fourth outfielder, but there might be just enough offensive upside for him to become an everyday outfielder.
