    Bills released WR Tavon Austin.
Austin was floundering on the team’s practice squad and was reportedly unhappy with not being called up for game action. His release comes just as the Bills struggle with injuries to their two main slot receivers, Jamison Crowder and Isaiah McKenzie. Rookie WR Jaquarri Roberson will take Austin’s place on the Buffalo practice squad.

Cowboys signed Wake Forest WR Jaquarri Roberson.
Roberson (6'1/186) broke out his final two seasons at Wake Forest, catching 134 passes for 2,004 yards and 16 touchdowns across 22 games and earning second-team All-ACC honors both years. Arguably a Combine snub, Roberson turned heads with a 40-inch vertical and 10-foot-11 broad jump at his Pro Day, adding a 40 time in the 4.4s. That testing might overstate his play speed, but he projects as a big-slot option.
