Javy Guerra, who last pitched in the majors with the Nationals in 2021, told Dodgers Nation that he’s “99.9% retired.”
The 38-year-old would reconsider if a major league team made him an offer, but that doesn’t seem very likely to happen. Guerra’s best season came as a rookie in 2011, when he saved 21 games for the Dodgers. He never did much closing afterwards, but he posted a 3.98 ERA in 272 career appearances in the majors, all of them coming in relief.
