Chiba Lotte Marines of Nippon Professional Baseball signed reliever Josh Ravin.
He announced the move himself on Twitter. The 30-year-old reliever will head to Japan rather than try his luck on a minor league deal in the United States. He made 19 appearances with the Braves’ Triple-A club this year and didn’t allow a run in any of them. He allowed two runs in three innings with the big league club. He has pitched in 35 major league games in his career and has a 5.12 ERA in 38 2/3 innings.

Josh Ravin has elected free agency.
Ravin, 30, spent most of the season at the Triple-A level and didn’t allow a run over 19 appearances. He’ll land on his feet somewhere.

Reds purchased the contract of RHP Josh Ravin from Double-A Pensacola.
Ravin made the move to the bullpen this season and posted a shaky 5.33 ERA and 26/22 K/BB ratio over 27 innings between High-A and Double-A. However, the 24-year-old right-hander throws in the mid-to-high 90s and pitched well in the Arizona Fall League, so the Reds didn’t want to risk losing him in the Rule 5 Draft.

Reds designated RHP Josh Ravin for assignment.
The move was made in order to clear a spot on the 40-man roster. Ravin, 25, posted an ugly 5.82 ERA in 48 appearances this season between Double- and Triple-A.

Brewers claimed RHP Josh Ravin off waivers from the Reds.
Ravin was designated for assignment by Cincinnati on Monday after posting a rough 5.82 ERA in 48 appearances this season between the Double-A and Triple-A levels. The 25-year-old right-hander is far from a prospect.

Dodgers signed RHP Josh Ravin to a minor league contract.
The deal does not include an invite to spring training. Ravin, 25, had an ugly 5.82 ERA over 51 innings of work between the Reds’ Double-A and Triple-A affiliates this past season.

Dodgers recalled RHP Josh Ravin from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
He’ll join the major league bullpen with Joe Blanton on the bereavement list. Ravin just returned to action last week in Triple-A after serving an 80-game PED suspension.

Dodgers activated RHP Josh Ravin from the restricted list; optioned him to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Ravin was hit with an 80-game suspension (sans pay) in early May after he tested positive for a performance-enhancer. At the time of his suspension, he was sitting on the 60-day disabled list recovering from a broken left arm suffered in a spring training car crash. Now back at Triple-A, Ravin will try to close out the final two months of the season without issue. The first four months of his 2016 campaign have been problematic, to say the least.

Dodgers activated RHP Josh Ravin from the 15-day disabled list.
He missed a couple weeks of action with a strained triceps. Ravin will work in low-leverage situations.

Dodgers placed RHP Josh Ravin on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right triceps.
It’s unclear how long he might be on the shelf. Brock Stewart has taken his spot in the bullpen.
