Panthers re-signed LB Julian Stanford to a one-year contract.

Jaguars undrafted rookie LB Julian Stanford could be forced to start at strong-side linebacker.
Stanford was signed as an undrafted rookie out of Wagner in May, and the Jags’ normal SLB Daryl Smith has missed the first six games of the season with a groin injury. Kyle Bosworth has been starting in Smith’s place, but Stanford has been a special teams standout and his defensive snaps have increased each week.

The Jets are expected to re-sign free agent LB Julian Stanford.
Stanford was released by the Jets on Friday, which also happened to be his wedding day. Per ESPN’s Rich Cimini, the Jets were required to release Stanford by April 15 because he ended last year on injured reserve. Assuming he’s brought back, Stanford will serve as depth behind starters David Harris and Darron Lee at inside linebacker.
