Texans selected West Virginia S K.J. Dillon with the No. 159 overall pick in the 2016 draft.
Dillon (6'1/208) started three seasons at WVU, tallying 18 career tackles for loss with five interceptions and two forced fumbles. He earned second-team All-Big 12 as a senior. Dillon shined at the Combine -- running 4.53 with a 10-foot-1 broad jump -- but athleticism questions arose when he managed a 28-inch vertical and slow agility scores at the Mountaineers’ Pro Day. A ‘tweener safety, Dillon was an inefficient college tackler and isn’t quite a free safety-type athlete. He’ll have to earn initial playing time on special teams.
