Rodríguez, 26, wound up playing a role during the Guardians’ magical stretch run in 2025 as a masher against left-handed pitching. He faced a crowded outfield mix this spring and wound up on the outside looking in. He should get an opportunity at some point during the first half of the 2026 campaign.

The Rockies drafted Huff in the seventh round of the 2022 MLB June Amateur Draft, out of Stanford University. The 22-year-old catcher has slashed .254/.352/.264 in 370 plate appearances (95 games) across rookie ball and Single-A action. He popped five home runs with 36 RBI this seaso, which is nothing to write home about, but he’s still young and graded out better on the defensive side of the equation. He was named California League Catcher of the Year by Baseball America and flashed a strong arm with 29 runners caught stealing.
