Lajae Jones contributed 11 points (4-of-5 FGs), five rebounds, one block and two three-pointers against the Mavericks on Thursday.

Jones made three appearances during the California Classic, scoring a total of 10 points. He surpassed that mark in this game alone in what was an impressive showing for him. Golden State added him with the 54th pick in the draft, so it’s unlikely he plays much of a role for the Warriors this season.

Warriors selected Lajae Jones with pick No. 54 in the NBA Draft.

The 6-foot-7 wing spent four years at four different schools, but the final one was with Florida State. He was named to the All-ACC Tournament Second Team and averaged 12.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 1.2 steals, 1.0 blocks and 1.7 triples per game over the course of the season. Though he didn’t shoot it from deep at a high percentage last season, Jones was more than capable of getting hot, and even had a game with 10 three-pointers early on. He’ll likely fill in as a depth piece for Golden State, though there is some intriguing fantasy upside if he is able to carve out a role at some point.
