Leonard Miller was selected by the Spurs with the 33rd pick in the 2023 NBA Draft and traded to Minnesota for two future second-round picks.
Long and athletic with a 7’2 wingspan, Miller excelled for the G League Ignite as a scorer and rebounder, averaging 18 points and 11 boards last season. He scraps for loose balls and crashes the glass with ferocity, but Miller also has a solid outside shot and the ability to knock down triples. His build and the fact that he’s a lefty make the comparison to Marvin Bagley III easy. Miller could find meaningful minutes at either forward spot with the Wolves, and he makes for a dart-throw late-round fantasy pick in 2023-24 redraft leagues.
