Nick Richards (elbow) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Suns.

Richards has missed Chicago’s last five games with a sprained right elbow. Guerschon Yabusele has served as the starting center in Richards’ absence, with Leonard Miller and Patrick Williams playing a few minutes at the position as part of the bench unit.

Nick Richards (elbow) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Spurs.

Richards has missed the Bulls’ last two games. With Guerschon Yabusele also out on Saturday, the Bulls went small, with Leonard Miller serving as the starting center. He would likely remain in that role if Richards and Yabusele can’t play, which could set up San Antonio’s Victor Wembanyama for a huge night.

Leonard Miller was selected by the Spurs with the 33rd pick in the 2023 NBA Draft and traded to Minnesota for two future second-round picks.

Long and athletic with a 7’2 wingspan, Miller excelled for the G League Ignite as a scorer and rebounder, averaging 18 points and 11 boards last season. He scraps for loose balls and crashes the glass with ferocity, but Miller also has a solid outside shot and the ability to knock down triples. His build and the fact that he’s a lefty make the comparison to Marvin Bagley III easy. Miller could find meaningful minutes at either forward spot with the Wolves, and he makes for a dart-throw late-round fantasy pick in 2023-24 redraft leagues.
