Dodgers acquired LHP Adam Serwinowski, RHP Paul Gervase and C Ben Rortvedt from the Rays for C Hunter Feduccia.
Serwinowski was picked up from the Reds in the Zack Littell deal and immediately spun off to the Dodgers. He was just 1-7 with a 4.84 ERA in High-A ball, but that came with 92 strikeouts in 74 1/3 innings. If his control comes along and he develops a better changeup to go with his fastball and slider, he should turn into a quality starter, and even if that doesn’t really happen, he’d still offer potential out of the pen.
  • LAD Catcher #67
ESPN’s Jeff Passan reports Hunter Feduccia is being traded from the Dodgers to the Rays for Ben Rortvedt and two prospects.
The Zack Littell trade between the Rays and Reds was announced as a two-team trade, but now it’s more like a three-tearm deal, with Adam Serwinowski, who went from Cincinnati to Tampa Bay, getting spun to the Dodgers along with fellow pitching prospect Paul Gervase and Rortvedt. The return suggests the Rays see Feduccia as a possible catcher of the future, something he was never going to be in L.A. He might remain in Triple-A for now with Nick Fortes just joining the team in a pairing with Matt Thaiss.

Rays acquired LHP Adam Serwinowski and RHP Brian Van Belle from the Reds for RHP Zack Littell.
There’s plenty of reporting surfacing that Serwinowski is going to be shipped elsewhere, but he’s headed to Tampa Bay for now. The 21-year-old southpaw has pitched extremely well this season with a 4.84 ERA and 92/39 K/BB ratio across 74 1/3 innings (18 appearances, 17 starts) for High-A Dayton.
