Twins acquired RHP Alejandro Hidalgo from the Angels for INF Gio Urshela.
Hidalgo survived 10 starts in the California League as a 19-year-old last season, finishing with a 4.62 ERA and a 58/19 K/BB ratio in 39 innings. He has a long way to go, but he’s a definite prospect and a step up from the kind of A-ball pitcher who would get shipped off in return for a likely non-tender.
