Cubs signed RHP Andres Santiago to a minor league contract.
The 25-year-old hurler spent the 2014 season at Double-A Chattanooga in the Dodgers organization, compiling a 4.47 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 98/53 K/BB ratio over 129 innings. He’s nothing more than organizational depth for the Cubs.
