Erick Fedde will pitch behind an opener on Friday against the Tigers.
Brandon Eisert will get the ball to kick off the contest before Fedde makes a bulk relief appearance. The 33-year-old veteran was roughed up for eight runs over 3 1/3 innings his previous time out against the Giants last week. He’s not a recommended fantasy option.

White Sox recalled LHP Brandon Esiert from Triple-A Charlotte.
Eisert returns to the big leagues after spending a couple weeks in the minors after a pair of rough outings for the White Sox back in mid-April. The 28-year-old southpaw holds a serviceable 4.75 ERA across 78 2/3 innings for Chicago over the last two years.
  • CWS Relief Pitcher #53
White Sox optioned LHP Brandon Eisert to Triple-A Charlotte.
Eisert pitched on Sunday and again on Tuesday, allowing four runs on six hits in 2 1/3 innings. The White Sox will get a fresh arm up in the pen.

White Sox recalled LHP Brandon Eisert from Triple-A Charlotte.
Eisert, 28, was a fixture in the White Sox’ bullpen throughout the 2025 campaign, registering a 4.39 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and a 74/25 K/BB ratio across 69 2/3 innings in his 72 appearances. He’ll function in a middle relief role.
  • CWS Relief Pitcher #53
White Sox optioned LHP Brandon Eisert to Triple-A Charlotte.
Eisert will likely be one of the first relievers back up for Chicago when they need bullpen help. The White Sox are going to need a lot of bullpen help.

Brandon Eisert tossed a clean ninth inning with one strikeout to record the save against the Astros on Tuesday.
Eisert got the save chance for the White Sox on Tuesday as he was called on to close out the game with a two-run lead in the bottom of the ninth. He pitched a perfect frame, striking out one batter to convert his second save of the season.
  • CWS Relief Pitcher #53
Brandon Eisert pitched a scoreless bottom of the seventh to get a save against the Twins in a rain-shortened game Thursday.
It’s fitting that the White Sox’s first save in 25 games of the year came from a pitcher who had no idea he’d be in line for one. It was actually the first time this season that Eisert entered with a lead in a non-blowout situation; his previous eight appearances had seen him enter with the White Sox behind six times and then ahead by nine and 10 runs in the other two. He has a 4.76 ERA in 11 1/3 innings. The White Sox bullpen should continue to be avoided in fantasy leagues.

White Sox recalled LHP Brandon Eisert from Triple-A Charlotte.
Eisert got the call back to the big leagues prior to Friday’s series opener against the Red Sox with Fraser Ellard (hamstring) landing on the injured list.
  • CWS Relief Pitcher #40
White Sox activated LHP Tyler Gilbert (knee) from the 15-day injured list.
The team optioned left-hander Brandon Eisert to Charlotte in a corresponding move. Gilbert allowed three runs on 10 hits in 8 1/3 innings out of the bullpen for the Phillies last season and should operate as a multi-inning arm for the White Sox this season.

White Sox optioned LHP Brandon Eisert to Triple-A Charlotte.
No countermove yet, and since the White Sox are off on Monday, it might not come until Tuesday. Tyler Gilbert returning from the IL seems like one possibility. Eisert, claimed off waivers from the Rays in February, had pitched three times for the White Sox, giving up four runs in three innings.
