    Yankees RHP prospect Cale Coshow scattered three hits over six scoreless frames Saturday in a win for High-A Tampa.
    The 22-year-old was credited with a rain-shortened shutout. He’s 2-0 with a 0.44 ERA since his move to the starting rotation on June 14. Coshow has posted a 9.28 K/9 this season while holding opponents to a .194 average in 191 at-bats. New York selected Coshow in the 13th round of the 2013 draft after he pitched collegiately at Oklahoma Christian University.

    Yankees RHP prospect Cale Coshow surrendered just one hit over six scoreless innings Monday for Double-A Trenton.
    Akron came from behind to win 2-1, forcing Coshow to settle for another no-decision. Coshow remains winless despite an impressive 2.89 ERA. The 23-year-old has struggled with control at times, walking 12 batters in 28 innings this season. Opponents have hit .224 against him with 18 strikeouts in 98 at-bats. Coshow pitched out of the bullpen early in his career but has been used exclusively as a starter since joining Trenton late last season.
