Braves acquired RHP Caleb Dirks from the Dodgers in the Bud Norris deal.

The Braves traded Dirks to the Dodgers nearly a year ago to the day for international bonus money but they’ve now got him back in their system. Dirks, 23, has posted a 1.44 ERA and 35/7 K/BB ratio over 31 1/3 relief innings at the Double-A level this season.

Dodgers acquired RHP Caleb Dirks and OF Jordan Paroubeck from the Braves for international bonus slot 87.

Dirks will report to High-A Rancho Cucamonga while Paroubeck will head to the team’s spring training facility in Arizona to continue rehabbing a minor quadriceps injury. Dirks, a 22-year-old right-hander, owns a 0.68 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 29/14 K/BB ratio over 26 2/3 innings between Class-A Rome and High-A Carolina this season.
