Casey Rogowski went 4-for-5 with a home run and five RBI for Triple-A Charlotte on Saturday.
Rogowski, who turned 25 this month, is batting .304/.383/.487 for Charlotte. He’s going to have to show more power to avoid topping out as a quad-A player. The White Sox shouldn’t have room for him anytime soon.

Casey Rogowski went 4-for-5 with a double and two RBI in the Dominican Winter League yesterday.
Rogowski, 24, hit .293/.374/.444 with 20 steals for Double-A Birmingham this year. He’s seen time in the outfield, but since he’s primarily a first baseman, he’s going to have to demonstrate more power in order to have much of a career in the majors.

Casey Rogowski went 5-for-5 with a homer, two doubles and four RBI for Azucareros of the DWL yesterday.
The homer was his first, but Rogowski has seven doubles and 12 RBI in 14 games.

White Sox optioned 1B Casey Rogowski, RHP Charlie Haeger, INF Pedro Lopez and C Chris Stewart to Triple-A Charlotte; reassigned RHP Lance Broadway and LHP Ray Liotta to minor league camp.
Rogowski, who will play first base for Charlotte, went just 1-for-14 in a disappointing spring. Haeger, a knuckleballer, had an even more difficult time, giving up 19 runs -- 11 earned -- in 5 2/3 innings.
  • CWS 1st Baseman
White Sox sent first baseman Casey Rogowski outright to Triple-A Charlotte.
Rogowski, a 25-year-old first baseman lacking major league power, is one of the guys the White Sox should have dropped before giving up on Sean Tracey this spring. It’s no surprise he cleared waivers.
