Edgardo Henriquez picked up his second save in the Venezuelan Winter League with a hitless ninth on Sunday.
Henriquez has fanned four in three scoreless innings to date. The 23-year-old never truly established himself in the Dodgers pen last season, but he had a 2.37 ERA over 19 innings when he was given a chance, and he averaged 101 mph with his fastball in the process. He would have been a bit of a sleeper for 2026 if the Dodgers hadn’t signed Edwin Díaz to close.

Left-handers Tanner Scott and Alex Vesia are not on the Dodgers’ roster for the World Series.
Scott was removed from the team’s roster during the NLDS after undergoing a lower body abscess procedure. The Dodgers were hopeful that he would be ready to return for the start of the World Series, but he isn’t quite there yet. Vesia is still away from the team while navigating a deeply personal family matter. Ben Casparius was removed from the roster along with Vesia while Edgardo Henriquez and Will Klein were added. Michael Conforto remains off the roster as well. The Dodgers will kick off the Fall Classic in Toronto on Friday evening against Trey Yesavage and the Blue Jays.

Clayton Kershaw is officially on the Dodgers’ NLDS roster.
As expected, Kershaw finds himself back in Los Angeles’ pitching plans to operate out of the bullpen to combat Philadelphia’s elite left sluggers Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper during the best-of-five series. Southpaw reliever Anthony Banda is also back on the roster as additional left-handed depth with Justin Wrobleski and Edgardo Hernandez left off.

Edgardo Henriquez earned his first career save after striking out the side in the ninth inning Saturday against the Mariners.
Dodgers relievers struck out nine in a row at the end of the game. Blake Treinen fanned three after a leadoff single in the seventh, and Alex Vesia wound up with the win after striking out the side in the eighth. Henriquez now has a 2.37 ERA in 19 innings as a 23-year-old rookie, and he’ll definitely be a factor if the Dodgers make another run in October.

Dodgers recalled RHP Edgardo Henriquez from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
With Brock Stewart (shoulder) heaing to the injured list, Henriquez will get another opportunity to show what he can do at the big league level. The 23-year-old hurler has yet to allow a baserunner over 2 1/3 innings with the Dodgers this season. He’ll function in a middle relief role.

Dodgers optioned RHP Edgardo Henriquez to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Henriquez heads back to the minors to allow the Dodgers to bring up some long relief depth in left Justin Wrobleski for Sunday’s series finale against the Red Sox. The hard-throwing 23-year-old righty has tossed 2 1/3 scoreless frames over three appearances since returning to the big leagues earlier this week.

Dodgers recalled RHP Edgardo Henriquez from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Henriquez has been added to Los Angeles’ relief corps ahead of Monday’s series opener against the Twins. The hard-throwing 23-year-old righty is one of the more intriguing relief prospects out there with triple-digit fastball velocity and big-time strikeout stuff. He missed a couple months at the outset of the year recovering from a fractured left foot and spent the past few weeks at the Triple-A level.

Dodgers activated RHP Edgardo Henriquez from the 60-day injured list; optioned him to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Henriquez will remain stationed in the minors as extra relief depth after wrapping up a rehab assignment. The hard-throwing 23-year-old wound up on the 60-day injured list after suffering a fractured left foot during spring training. He should make it back to Los Angeles’ relief corps at some point in the near future.

Dodgers transferred RHP Edgardo Henriquez to the 60-day injured list.
Henriquez is still in the process of recovering from a fractured left foot. Nothing has changed in his prognosis, this was merely done as a procedural move to free up a spot on the team’s 40-man roster for Eddie Rosario on Friday.

Dodgers placed RHP Edgardo Henriquez on the 15-day injured list with a left foot fracture.
Henriquez is expected to be sidelined until at least mid-April after fracturing his left foot a couple weeks ago during an undisclosed off-field incident. The hard-throwing 22-year-old righty will presumably return to a middle relief role at some point next month.
