Sabrowski threw 20 pitches in his first rehab outing as he works his way back from elbow inflammation that put him on the injured list back in late May. Elbow inflammation is always a concern, it’s more concerning from a pitcher that missed three months because of elbow issues, and Sabrowski did just that to begin 2026. The left-hander will miss at least two weeks, but this seems likely to be a longer stint on the injured list. It’s a big loss for the Guardians, as Sabrowski has been one of the best relievers in baseball with 17 holds and a 1.71 ERA over 21 innings.
