Rockies signed LHP Evan Grills to a minor league contract.
Grills registered a 3.71 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, and 100/23 K/BB ratio in 135 2/3 innings this summer between High-A Lancaster, Double-A Corpus Christi, and Triple-A Fresno -- affiliates of the Astros. The 24-year-old lefty has experience as both a starter and reliever.
