    Dodgers re-signed C Griff Erickson to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
    Erickson is a seven-year minor league veteran that hit just .199/.324/.414 with nine homers at Double-A last year. He’s simply giving the Dodgers pitchers another backstop to throw to in spring training.

    The deal will presumably include an invitation to spring training as well. The 26-year-old backstop has spent his entire eight-year minor league career in the Dodgers organization. He flashed some offensive potential at Triple-A Albuquerque in 2014, slashing .297/.384/.510 with seven homers and 29 RBI in 60 contests.
