Expos acquired outfielder Jason Belcher and RHP Jason Childers from the Brewers for outfielder Peter Bergeron.
Belcher, a former catcher, was batting .289 with three homers and 17 RBI for Double-A Huntsville. Childers had 15 saves and a 1.26 ERA as the closer for Triple-A Indianapolis. Neither player projects as much of a major leaguer, but Childers might see time in the Montreal bullpen before the end of the season.
