Brewers optioned C Jeferson Quero, RHP Grant Anderson, RHP Logan Henderson RHP Carlos Rodriguez and LHP Grant Wolfram to Triple-A Nashville and reassigned OF Jared Oliva and C Ramon Rodriguez to minor league camp.
All of the pitchers optioned by the Brew Crew have a chance to make appearances for Milwaukee before the end of the year, but only Rodriguez is likely to make starts. The biggest name here is Quero; a catcher who missed most of the 2024 campaign with a shoulder issue, but offers considerable fantasy upside and could be be in the majors before the season ends.

The 22-year-old, who was hurt in his very first game last season, is some team’s catcher of the future, just probably not Milwaukee’s. Quero will likely start in AAA as William Contreras monopolizes most of the time behind home plate for the Brewers in 2025.
