Mets acquired INF Jeremy Rodriguez from the Diamondbacks for OF/DH Tommy Pham and cash considerations.
Rodriguez, 17, signed for $1.25 million out of the Dominican Republic as an international free agent this past January. He’s put up a .751 OPS with 12 steals over 37 games in the Dominican Summer League. Obviously he’s a ways off from making an impact.
