Jonathan Aranda went 1-for-4 with a solo homer against the Blue Jays on Saturday.
Aranda’s only hit of the game came in the top of the sixth as he led off the inning with a solo homer off Yariel Rodríguez. It was the only run the Rays would score in Saturday’s loss to the Blue Jays. The 27-year-old slugger had breakout season interrupted by a fractured wrist, hitting 14 homers with 56 RBI while slashing .315/.393/.490 across 417 plate appearances.

Jonathan Aranda is at first base and batting fifth on Saturday against the Blue Jays.
Aranda launched a solo homer — his 13th round-tripper of the season — on Friday in his return from the injured list after missing exactly two months recovering from a fractured wrist. The 27-year-old breakout slugger’s extended absence adversely impacted Tampa Bay’s playoff chances as he would’ve helped stabilize the middle of the lineup behind rising superstar Junior Caminero. He appears fully healthy and on track for a normal offseason. He’ll be a borderline top-15 range first baseman in fantasy drafts next spring.

Rays activated 1B Jonathan Aranda from the 10-day injured list.
Aranda has been swinging the bat, but with the minor league season over, he’s having to return from a fractured wrist without playing in any rehab games. It sounds like he’ll probably make starts this weekend. The 27-year-old was hitting .316/.394/.478 in 309 plate appearances before getting hurt on a play at first base.

Jonathan Aranda (wrist) will take on-field live batting practice on Wednesday.
Assuming that goes well, Aranda could be activated for Thursday’s series finale against the Orioles. The 27-year-old breakout first baseman has been on the shelf since he fractured his left wrist back in early August. The Rays aren’t going to the postseason, but Aranda will get back for their final few games and should be a full-go heading into the offseason.

Jonathan Aranda (wrist) is scheduled to take live batting practice this week
Aranda’s health coming out of the impending session will likely determine whether he returns for the final week of the regular season. The 27-year-old first baseman is working his way back from a fractured left wrist that put him on the shelf back in early August. He’s unlikely to make an impact for fantasy purposes in the final week outside of extremely deep mixed leagues.

Jonathan Aranda (wrist) has been cleared to resume baseball activities.
Aranda has progressed to playing catch and hitting off a batting tee as he continues to work his way back from a fractured left wrist that put him on the shelf back in early August. It’s unclear whether the 27-year-old first baseman will make it back before the regular season wraps up, but he’s certainly going to give it a shot.

Jonathan Aranda (wrist) is aiming to return before the end of the season.
Aranda suffered a left wrist fracture earlier this week on a collision with Yankees slugger Giancarlo Stanton. He’s expected to be shut down completely for at least three weeks to rest and recover, but has expressed optimism that he’ll return this season. The 27-year-old first baseman has put together a breakthrough campaign with a .316 batting average and 12 homers in 409 plate appearances over 103 games. It’ll be a combination of Yandy Díaz and Brandon Lowe covering at the cold corner until some point in September.

Rays placed INF Jonathan Aranda on the 10-day injured list with a left wrist fracture.
Aranda suffered the injury during Thursday’s contest against the Yankees. While the Rays haven’t placed a specific timeline on his return, the 27-year-old infielder told reporters that he’s optimistic he’ll be able to return before the end of the regular season. He’ll be shut down completely from using his wrist for the next three weeks before being re-evaluated.

Jonathan Aranda left Thursday’s game against the Yankees with an apparent injury.
Aranda is the third player to leave the game for the Rays, as Chandler Simpson and Yandy Diaz also exited with injuries during the contest. Aranda appeared to be holding his wrist, and he’ll all but assuredly undergo imaging to determine if there’s any structural damage.

Jonathan Aranda went 2-for-5 and homered off the Yankees’ Max Fried on Tuesday.
A platoon player for much of the year, Aranda is starting against lefties lately and just homered off of one for the first time in his career. And it was against an All-Star, too. He’s now batting .288/.387/.363 versus southpaws this season.
