Yankees re-signed C Jorge Saez to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
The 28-year-old backstop spent the 2018 season in the Yankees’ organization where he slashed .237/.324/.362 with five homers and 19 RBI in 47 games at Double-A Trenton. He’ll continue to function as extra catching depth for the Bombers.
