Josh Taylor (biceps) will start a minor league rehab assignment on Saturday with Double-A Northwest Arkansas.
Taylor hit the injured list at the conclusion of spring training with left biceps soreness and has been out the entire season. It’s possible he’ll make it back in time before the regular season wraps up, but we’re not counting on it. The 31-year-old lefty has been limited to just 17 relief appearances over the past three seasons due to injury.

Royals transferred LHP Josh Taylor to the 60-day injured list.
Nothing has changed in the prognosis for the 31-year-old southpaw as he battles soreness in his left biceps, this was done as a procedural move to free up a spot on the team’s 40-man roster for the addition of Colin Selby from the Pirates on Sunday. Taylor still remains without a timeline for a potential return.

Royals placed LHP Josh Taylor on the 15-day injured list with left biceps soreness.
Taylor was placed on the injured list earlier this week. There’s no timetable for the 31-year-old southpaw’s return yet.

Josh Taylor is dealing with left biceps soreness.
Taylor hasn’t pitched in a Cactus League contest since March 12 after suffering a left biceps injury last weekend while warming up. The 31-year-old lefty seems highly likely to open the season on the injured list.

Royals and LHP Josh Taylor avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $1.1 million contract.
Taylor struggled in 17 relief appearances last year before landing on the injured list for good in late May due to a left shoulder impingement. The 30-year-old southpaw is presumably coming back on a discount as he was a pretty logical non-tender candidate for Kansas City.

Royals placed LHP Josh Taylor on the 15-day injured list with a left shoulder impingement.
Taylor gave up two earned runs on three hits in Saturday’s loss to the Nationals on Saturday. The 30-year-old will head to the 15-day injured list with an inflated 8.15 ERA and 1.75 WHIP across 17 appearances this season.

Josh Taylor will start on Friday against the Brewers.
It’ll be a bullpen game for the Royals, who are still trying to fill the void in their starting rotation left by injuries to Kris Bubic (elbow) and Ryan Yarbrough (face). Taylor will likely work an inning or two before handing the ball to another Kansas City reliever.

Royals recalled LHP Josh Taylor from Triple-A Omaha.
The 30-year-old had a 6.75 ERA, 1.88 WHIP, and 5/1 K/BB ratio across 5 1/3 innings at TRiple-A Omaha. He will give the Royals’ bullpen extra depth and is not a factor for saves.

Royals optioned LHP Josh Taylor to Triple-A Omaha.
Taylor was acquired back in January from the Red Sox in exchange for infielder Adalberto Mondesi and will open the regular season in the minors. The 29-year-old southpaw missed all of last season due to ongoing back issues, but was healthy enough to make eight relief appearances this spring in the Cactus League.
