Braves acquired INF Kevin Franklin from the Reds.
Franklin was the player to be named in the February deal that sent Brandon Phillips to the Braves. The 22-year-old was a second round pick of the Reds from the 2013 draft. He’s hitting just .179/.225/.238 with one homer and five RBI in 27 games between Class-A Dayton and High-A Daytona this season.
