Rockies purchased the contract of LHP Kraig Sitton from High-A Modesto.
The southpaw has decent stats on the farm -- including a 3.49 ERA over 166 relief appearances -- but hasn’t yet stepped foot in a Double-A dugout despite the fact that he’ll turn 26 next July. The hope is that he’ll turn in a LOOGY someday.

Giants signed LHP Kraig Sitton to a minor league contract.
Sitton had a promising 2.41 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, and 38/8 K/BB ratio in 52 1/3 innings this year with Double-A Jackson and Triple-A Tacoma, affiliates of the Mariners. He’ll give the Giants some left-handed relief depth.

Mariners signed LHP Kraig Sitton to a minor league contract.
Sitton had a promising 2.97 ERA in 57 2/3 innings last season for the Double-A affiliate of the Rockies, though his peripherals were less inspiring. He will function as organizational relief depth for the M’s.

    Rockies non-tendered LHP Kraig Sitton.
Sitton pitched in Double-A during the 2014 season. He posted a 3.68 ERA with a 43/23 K/BB over 66 frames. Now a free agent, the 26-year-old will try to latch on with a system in need of a southpaw. If he ever cracks the majors, it will most likely be as a LOOGY.

Rockies signed LHP Kraig Sitton to a minor league contract.
Sitton was non-tendered by the Rockies at Tuesday’s deadline, but the club obviously didn’t plan on letting him test the free agent market. Sitton had a 3.68 ERA over 66 innings at Double-A Tulsa this past season. The southpaw was a seventh-round selection of the Rockies in 2010.
