    The 25-year-old right-hander, who spent the past two seasons in the Red Sox organization, will be added to the Brewers’ 40-man roster. Olmsted owns a sparkling 1.96 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 213/47 K/BB ratio over 161 innings in his minor league career.

    Olmsted struck out 14 over 10 1/3 innings this spring, but he had struggled of late, serving up two of his team-high four home runs allowed on Friday. The big right-hander has a shot to make his major league debut at some point this season.
