Diamondbacks starter Archie Bradley threw a simulated game on Monday with good results, MLB.com’s Steve Gilbert reports. As a result, he has been cleared to rejoin the team’s rotation on Saturday, when they’ll take on the Phillies.

Bradley was hit in the head by a Carlos Gonzlaez line drive on April 28, but thankfully did not suffer a concussion. He had thrown a couple of bullpen sessions prior to the simulated game with no issues.

The 22-year-old right-hander got off to a good start prior to the line drive scare, posting a 1.80 ERA with a 14/11 K/BB ratio in 20 innings of work.
