Braves, Rockies snowed out in Colorado

Huge Snow Storm Slams Into Mid Atlantic States

Today’s scheduled game between the Braves and Rockies at Coors Field has been postponed due to a blizzard warning in Denver. It will be made up on August 26 when, presumably, there will be less of a chance of snow.

We’ve done pretty good on the weather so far in the early going. We’ve had far fewer rainouts and those terrible 33 degree games in which everyone’s wearing balaclavas and stuff. This one in Colorado is to be expected. Mostly because it’s Colorado. If we only get one snow-out in the 2019 season we’re ahead of the game.
