Scary scene in Miami on Sunday afternoon when Bryce Harper went down in a heap after colliding with Derek Dietrich of the Marlins at second base on a soft grounder from Jayson Werth.

Harper looked to be dazed as trainers tended to him and he later acknowledged to Chelsea Janes of the Washington Post that he experienced some initial dizziness, but the first round of concussion tests have come back negative.
The 22-year-old National League MVP frontrunner will undergo further concussion tests Monday ahead of the Nationals’ series opener at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
Harper grounded into a fielder’s choice in his only at-bat Sunday. The Nationals wound up winning 5-0, but they’re still a whopping 9 1/2 games back of the Mets in the NL East.
