If you watched the player introductions before the 2016 All-Star Game or if you watched Rangers ace Cole Hamels’ scoreless third inning, you might’ve noticed a bandage on his chin. The lefty tripped coming out of the bathroom in his hotel room at 5 AM, Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports reports.

“Now I can sleep,” Hamels said.

It’s not as embarrassing as some of the other injuries baseball players have suffered. 12 years ago, Sammy Sosa injured his back sneezing. Mat Latos also suffered an injury the same way in 2010. Joel Zumaya injured himself playing Guitar Hero. Milton Bradley injured his ACL arguing with an umpire.

In his inning of work against the National League, Hamels allowed a single to Carlos Gonzalez and a double to Bryce Harper, but was able to get out unscathed by striking out Kris Bryant.

Hamels is an All-Star for the fourth time in his career. This season, he owns a 3.21 ERA and a 109/47 K/BB ratio in 112 innings.
