Congressman Adam Schiff from California made a bet with Congressman Steve Israel from New York over the NLDS. The Mets beat the Dodgers, of course, so Schiff had to pay up. The stakes? Schiff singing “Meet the Mets” on the floor of the United States House of Representatives:
Save your “don’t they have anything better to do?” comments. You know they don’t. At least this is keeping them occupied and away from more bothersome things.
