Head to NBC and Peacock this Sunday, June 28, for a thrilling day of MLB coverage. First, at 3:00 PM ET, it’s the Oakland Athletics vs Los Angeles Angels in an MLB Sunday Leadoff matchup on Peacock and NBCSN. Later, at 7:00 PM ET, the New York Yankees take on the Boston Red Sox on Sunday Night Baseball, as the rivalry returns to NBC Sports for the first time since 1995. The Yankees have won four of five games against the Red Sox this season. New York swept all three games in Boston in April, and then split two games at home on June 5 and 7.
Play-by-play voice Jason Benetti will call Sunday’s Yankees vs Red Sox game alongside seven-time Cy Young Award winner Roger Clemens and 2013 World Series champion Will Middlebrooks.
Bob Costas will host the pregame show alongside Anthony Rizzo, who will also provide “Inside the Pitch” commentary from the batter’s perspective during the game.
