I saw a pic of a raccoon sitting in the bleachers at Steinbrenner Field the other day. The Phillies have one-upped the Yankees:

There is a possum watching the Phillies play catch. He climbed to the top of the outdoors fence. Police fear he is rabid.

Gelb reports that animal control is on the way. Meanwhile, Ruben Amaro is frantically trying to ink the possum to a three-year, $39 million deal with a large vesting option to be Ryan Howard’s platoon partner before he is captured, however.
