Update: Shea reports that the all-clear has been issued by the police.

Scary situation in Chicago as members of the press -- the few people remaining at the ballpark following the Cubs’ 2-0 win against the Giants on Sunday -- have been evacuated due to a bomb threat. John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle has been actively tweeting about the situation.

We hope that everyone still at the ballpark is able to find safety and that the situation is resolved as quickly and painlessly as possible. We’ll keep you updated as more details roll in.
