Washington Nationals outfielder Michael Taylor has lost his arbitration hearing against the club. He will earn $3.25 million in 2019. Taylor had requested $3.5 million. Going to war over $250K is kinda weird, but nothing surprises me in 2019.

Taylor, a backup outfielder, had a down year in 2018, hitting .227/.287/.357 (OPS+ 69) with six homers in 385 plate appearances.
