Rockies sign outfielder Roger Bernadina

Ben Badler of Baseball America reports that the Rockies have agreed to terms on a minor league contract with outfielder Roger Bernadina.

Bernadina batted just .167 with a .561 OPS in 80 plate appearances this past season between the Reds and Dodgers, and he owns a weak .661 OPS for his career. The 30-year-old from Curacao probably won’t get much of a shot with the Rockies, who already have outfielders Carlos Gonzalez, Corey Dickerson, Charlie Blackmon, Drew Stubbs, Brandon Barnes, and Kyle Parker on their 40-man roster.
