The Cubs, Padres and Red Sox are said to be talking about a three-way deal

We heard about this morning from Buster Olney, and despite the Cubs trading for Dan Haren, it’s still supposedly going on:

Sources: #Padres, #RedSox, #Cubs 3-team trade possibility remains very much alive, with two hours to deadline.

No hints at all regarding what it may entail, though it’s well-known that the Padres are making multiple players available. Particularly starting pitchers, which the Red sox could use, and Justin Upton who could work in Chicago. That’s all speculation of course. The last three team deal involved 13 players, so anything is possible.
