Yankees outfielder Jake Cave has had a solid season in the minors, spending about half of it between Double-A Trenton and Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, his current club. He slashed .288/.353/.510 with Trenton, prompting a promotion to Scranton, where he’s hitting .285/.328/.496.

Included in that triple-slash line is a home run he hit on Wednesday against the Toledo Mud Hens, an absolute monster that landed on the roof of Frickers, a sports bar and restaurant beyond the right field fence at Fifth Third Field, the home of the Mud Hens.

The Reds selected Cave from the Yankees in the Rule 5 draft his past offseason, but returned him to the Yankees just before the start of the regular season. Cave was drafted by the Yankees in the sixth round of the 2011 draft.
