Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said before Saturday’s game in Arizona that Jimmy Rollins would reclaim starting shortstop duties from rookie Corey Seager when the veteran is able to return from his injured right index finger. But, uh, that might need some more evaluation.

Seager is now batting .467/.568/.733 over his first nine major league games.

Rollins, meanwhile, is slashing .220/.279/.355 in 132 games this year at age 36.
