Wait, the Rockies are eating $6 of Tulowitzki’s contact? Can this possibly be true?

Going back into last night’s tweets about the Troy Tulowitzki deal is fun. Because you see gems like this:

Chris Vass of @MLBNetworkRadio says the Rockies will eat $6 of the approximate $105M owed to Tulo. Not $6M, $6.00.

I’ve looked through all of the relevant parties’ feeds and can’t find any context or explanation for this. Anyone have a clue?

• The cost of a beer for Tulo on the flight to Toronto?
• Postage for his toiletries that are over 4oz because the Tulo does NOT check luggage?
• Cost of Ace bandages for his knees after a week of playing on the turf?
