Yankees sent RHP Ryan Pope outright to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
Pope was designated for assignment last week as the Yankees did some housecleaning on their 40-man roster. The 25-year-old right-hander posted a 5.12 ERA and 45/14 K/BB ratio over 45 2/3 innings this season between High-A Tampa, Double-A Trenton and Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
