Marlins signed RHP Sean Bergman to a minor league contract.

The 32-year-old Bergman is back from Japan after going 4-6 with a 5.15 ERA in 16 starts for the Kintetsu Buffaloes last season. He hasn’t pitched in the majors since posting a 9.66 ERA in 14 starts and one relief appearance with the Twins back in 2000. He’s not likely to make the Marlins.
